"I was at the DMV office to renew my temp license plate. I found out my insurance was set to expire on the 20th day but they required a full 30 day coverage to renew my license plate.

I called Eric and he was immediately accessible over the phone, and was able to email me an updated insurance card that was accepted at the DMV office.

I appreciated that immediate accessibility, super responsiveness and quick turn-around so much especially when it was time sensitive! So I did not have to wait, or come back to the DMV that was 20 min drive from home. Thank you for your super service!"

"I’m sad to say that after 20 years with State Farm (in Dallas, Denver and back in Dallas) I am leaving them as a customer and it is due to the lack of care and poor management of this office.

Personally I’m in customer service industry and I do all that is in my power to be kind to people and not write negative reviews but I feel people need to be warned.

I was in an accident on 4/1 and not a single person from this office called to see if I needed any assistance.
The adjuster who was assigned to my claim spoke with me only once despite of the numerous messages that were left.
All paperwork for total loss was signed as soon as it was received on 4/8 and they sent a payment to my lender to pay the car off but remainder of the payment that went to me wasn’t sent until 4/12 after my numerous calls. But they canceled my rental for 4/15 so I had 3 days to finalize my purchase of the new vehicle. When I called for extension I was told they can’t to anything only adjuster can who refused to call me back.

When I called my agent for the assistance as I’ve never lost a vehicle, besides leaving a message to the adjuster, they advised me to cancel my insurance on the lost vehicle despite having a rental.

I finally purchased my vehicle but due to the “system failure” they were not able to finalize my new policy that they quoted me at $244 per month. They advised me to call every two hours on Saturday until finally telling me to call my agent Monday.
When I did and when I asked why I was advised to cancel a policy that could have carried for a few days on my new vehicle no apology or ownership was shown. I was faced with excuses.
They proceeded to tell me that they can’t see the quote given to me over the weekend and requested my VIN number. Few moments later they said oh well they quoted you incorrectly and your actual monthly payment is $301.
Thank you but no thank you.

I’m sad that people in this office found no need to own their mistakes and failure of their company that prevented me from obtaining a policy over the weekend.
There was no question of what can we do to keep you as a customer. They were just fine with me leaving after so many years.

Now GEICO who has better service, more perks on their app and better follow through has gained my business even though they are a bit higher."

"This has been the worse experience of my life, in terms of canceling a policy. I have been trying to cancel my insurance policy since Feb 2, and I have received a late notice in the mail today, March 4th. I have called 6 times now, spoke to 3 supervisors and an underwriter and they still will not cancel my policy. Four notes has been made for Matt Willis to call me and still, no phone call. To say I am disappointed with the customer service with this individual and this company is an understatement. They have no problem in taking your money but heaven forbid you want to cancel your policy."
